Developed my first roll of film

Posted at — Nov 9, 2019

Today I’ve developed a roll of film for the first time. It took me several hours to make all necessary preparations, including warming and cooling water and mix some chemicals.

Honestly, I was ready to mess up my first roll. And yeah, that didn’t take long. First fail - my wrong assumption that mixing the chemicals means just pouring them into the water, but in fact, I need to stir chemicals until it completely dissolves. So, I’ve wasted one liter of D-76 Developer. Thankfully, I’ve had one more. Except for this issue, all steps went smoothly.

As a development tank, I’ve used Lab-Box (https://www.lab-box.it)

I’ve scanned some photos with just a phone and a light table, only for preview.
